Area of Responsibilities:

• Maintaining networks and security devices and solutions including but not limited to switches, routers, firewalls, wireless controllers and access points.
• Oversee the troubleshooting, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and other network and system incidents and service requests, including replacing faulty network hardware components when required.
• Monitoring network performance to determine if adjustments or improvements needs to be made, with the aim to maximizing network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting
• Liaising with end users and vendors/principals on network and security implementation, requirements and maintenance support.
• Designing and implementing new network and security solutions and/or improving the efficiency of current networks.
• Defining network policies, procedures, and maintaining documentation, which is to be used to ensure proper governance and standards.
• Able to working independently and collaborating closely in a team to deliver high-quality products and solution either by self-development or by software integrations.
• Prepare cost benefits analysis reports when software upgrades are necessary, continuously analyzing software vendors to ensure they offer the best possible service and value for company needs.
• Liaise with service owners and senior IT leaders to identify gaps and opportunities within existing network and cyber security platform or the need to refresh solutions.
• Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire network and cyber security lifecyle.
• To have a practical mind for problem solving, and ability to see the “big picture” to cultivate improvement.

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM7,500.00 per month
