Applicants should have/be (i) Bachelor's degree in Biomedical, Life Sciences, Medical Laboratory Science, or related disciplines; (ii) familiar with laboratory safety guidelines; (iii) able to work independently; (iv) attention to detail skills; and (v) able to maintain a high standard of integrity and research ethical conduct. Experience in cell biology, molecular biology-based laboratory techniques, or hands-on experience in handing clinical samples (blood/tissues), tissue culture, cell culture techniques are an advantage. 

The appointee will work in the research team at the Prince of Wales Hospital in Shatin. He/She will be responsible for (a) handling and processing clinical and biological samples from research projects/ clinical trials; (b) handling clinical sample's packaging, shipping and data logging; (c) maintaining sample database; and (d) assisting in reagent preparation, data filing, consumable purchasing, and other routine laboratory operations.

Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for one year commencing as soon as possible, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
