Duties:

1. Perform pre-migration housekeeping activities to identify and remove unused, stale, or obsolete storage volumes and device mappings.
2. Conduct post-migration cleanup to decommission legacy paths, remove redundant configurations, and ensure the host environment is optimized and aligned with the new storage infrastructure.
3. Validating and/or Reconfiguration of native multi-pathing post migration
4. Engage with customer teams to arrange and validate the necessary login credentials, access permissions, and connectivity requirements for all source and target hosts.
5. Support and manage change activities associated with migration projects in accordance with customer processes and change methodology.
6. Work closely with the storage team and vendor (example: Dell/HPE/Lenovo) team for data migration activities.
7. Completed checklist for each migrated host confirming disk paths, active multipath volumes, filesystem integrity, and cleanup verification.

Required skills:

• 2- 5 years experience as storage engineer
• SAN/NAS configuration and deployment
• Well versed in AIX / Solaris / Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) operating systems
