Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Assistant Engineer (Robotics & Automation) role based in Singapore. The role involves supporting the design, installation, testing, and commissioning of robotic and automation systems for industrial customers. The Assistant Engineer will assist in programming robots, integrating sensors and control systems, and optimizing automated processes to improve efficiency and reliability. Daily tasks include diagnosing technical issues, performing preventive maintenance, documenting engineering work, and collaborating with senior engineers and project teams. The role also includes on-site customer support, participation in system upgrades, and adherence to safety and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Robotics and Automation for system integration and deployment.
- Candidates should possess skills in Electrical Engineering and Process Control for designing and maintaining control systems.
- Candidates should possess Troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving technical issues in robotic and automation equipment.
- Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, Automation, or a related discipline.
- Basic knowledge of industrial control systems (e.g., PLCs, sensors, actuators) and safety standards.
- Ability to read technical drawings and manuals, with good documentation and reporting skills.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers on-site.
- Willingness to learn new technologies, support field work, and travel locally when required.
