- Register and process patient admissions, transfers, and discharges.
- Prepare and maintain patients' medical records and ward documentation.
- Answer telephone calls and respond to enquiries from patients, families, and hospital staff.
- Schedule patient appointments, investigations, and diagnostic procedures as directed.
- Coordinate communication between doctors, nurses, allied health professionals, and other hospital departments.
- Update patient information accurately in the Hospital Information System (HIS).
- Prepare admission forms, discharge documents, and other administrative paperwork.
- Ensure all patient records are complete, confidential, and properly filed.
- Assist in ordering, monitoring, and maintaining ward stationery and office supplies.
- Compile daily ward census, patient statistics, and administrative reports.
- Support the nursing team with non-clinical administrative duties.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and patient confidentiality requirements.
- Perform other administrative duties assigned by the Ward Manager or Nursing Supervisor.
