Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum 15+ years of experience in product design and manufacturing.
• Minimum 8+ years of management experience leading Mechanical Assembly Engineers, System Integration Engineers, and Technicians.
• Strong experience in mechanical assembly, box-build, system-level enclosure, and PCBA manufacturing processes.
• Proficient in 3D modelling software such as SolidWorks, Creo, or AutoCAD.
• Experience with MES and ERP system integration, including BOM management and ECO/ECN change control.
• Knowledge in Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles.
• Familiar with Industry 4.0 automation, robotics, tooling, and smart manufacturing solutions.
• Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing, FMEA, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Strong leadership, project management, and customer-facing skills.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end engineering activities for mechanical assembly design, tooling, and production deployment.
• Drive DFM/DFA reviews to ensure products are optimized for manufacturing and assembly processes.
• Manage product transition from New Product Introduction (NPI) to mass production.
• Oversee the design, fabrication, and validation of production tooling, jigs, and fixtures.
• Lead troubleshooting activities, including root cause analysis, FMEA, tolerance analysis, and structural issue resolution.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate BOM, ECO/ECN, and engineering change control.
• Align engineering processes with MES and ERP shop-floor execution systems.
• Support automation initiatives, including robotics and Industry 4.0 implementation.
• Manage, coach, and mentor mechanical engineers and system integration technicians.
• Plan resources, monitor project timelines, and ensure engineering deliverables meet customer requirements.
• Engage with customers and stakeholders to deliver engineering solutions and operational excellence.

Pay: RM10,000.00 - RM18,000.00 per month
