岗位职责

Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated Infrastructure & Security Deployment Engineer to deploy, maintain, and support a multi-site security, backup, and logging infrastructure. This is a hands-on role combining implementation, system administration, and operational support across a critical environment.

You will be responsible for deploying commercial security solutions, managing virtual infrastructure, executing disaster recovery (DR) drills, and providing ongoing maintenance. This role is ideal for an engineer with 1-3 years of experience looking to build a career in cybersecurity, as you will work directly with enterprise-grade security platforms and gain valuable experience in a security-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Infrastructure Deployment & Implementation

  • Install and configure the virtualization layer (e.g., Proxmox VE, Microsoft Hyper-V) on physical hosts.
  • Deploy and configure virtual machines (VMs) according to provided specifications.
  • Install and configure the Endpoint Security / EDR platform on endpoints (servers, VMs, and container environments).
  • Deploy and configure the Backup solution to protect VMs and log data, ensuring schedules and retention policies are correctly applied.
  • Configure the Log Management / Syslog solution to collect and forward system and security logs to a centralized repository.
  • Integrate platforms with the Identity Provider (IdP) for Single Sign-On (SSO) following the provided integration guides.
  • Configure the load balancer to route traffic to the new application servers.

2. Ongoing System Maintenance & Operations

  • Perform day-to-day administration, monitoring, and patching of the infrastructure stack.
  • Monitor system health and availability, proactively identifying and resolving potential issues.
  • Manage user access and permissions within the security platforms.
  • Perform regular health checks and capacity planning for all virtual and physical resources.
  • Maintain and update security policies (EDR, Device Control, etc.) as required.

3. Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity

  • Execute and validate Disaster Recovery (DR) drills to ensure the infrastructure can be restored within defined Recovery Time Objectives (RTO) and Recovery Point Objectives (RPO).
  • Manage backup jobs, verify backup integrity, and perform regular test restores.
  • Maintain and update DR documentation and runbooks.
  • Coordinate cross-site failover testing between the primary and secondary sites.

4. Standby & On-Call Support

  • Participate in a reasonable standby/on-call rotation for after-hours maintenance and emergency support.
  • Respond to and resolve critical system alerts and incidents during standby periods.
  • Standby allowance will be provided in accordance with company policy.
  • Scheduled maintenance windows may occasionally fall outside regular working hours and will be compensated accordingly.

5. Documentation & Handover

  • Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including system diagrams, configuration guides, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Assist in creating "As-Built" documentation and operational runbooks.
  • Provide knowledge transfer and handover to the broader IT operations team.

6. Security Focus & Career Development

  • Gain hands-on experience with enterprise-grade Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR), security policy management, and incident investigation.
  • Work alongside security architects and analysts to understand security operations workflows.
  • This role provides an excellent foundation for transitioning into a dedicated Cybersecurity Analyst or Security Engineer role.

Required Skills & Experience

Technical Skills

  • Virtualization: Hands-on experience deploying and managing VMs on Proxmox VE, Microsoft Hyper-V, or similar hypervisors.
  • Operating Systems: Practical experience installing, configuring, and maintaining Windows Server and Linux (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu/Debian) environments.
  • Networking Fundamentals: Understanding of IP addressing, DNS, routing, and basic network configuration.
  • Software Deployment: Experience installing and configuring enterprise commercial software (e.g., Security/EDR tools, Backup solutions, or Log Management solutions). You are not expected to be an expert; you must be comfortable following vendor installation guides and working with vendor support.
  • Scripting/CLI: Basic familiarity with command-line tools (PowerShell, Bash) for simple validation and automation tasks.
  • Storage: Basic understanding of NAS/SAN storage and backup concepts.
  • Documentation: Meticulous attention to detail and good documentation skills.

Soft Skills

  • Hands-On & Practical: Enjoys physical installation, configuration, and troubleshooting work.
  • Methodical: Follows design documents, checklists, and procedures precisely.
  • Problem-Solver: Can troubleshoot common errors and knows when to escalate.

  • Entry to Mid-Level: 1-3 years of experience in systems administration, infrastructure support, deployment, or a similar role.
  • Fresh graduates with relevant internships or strong practical skills are encouraged to apply.

Education & Certifications

  • Relevant certifications are a plus but not required:
  • Virtualization (e.g., Proxmox VE certification, Microsoft Hyper-V)
  • Operating Systems (e.g., RHCSA, Microsoft, CompTIA Linux+)
  • Networking (e.g., CompTIA Network+, CCNA)
  • Security (e.g., CompTIA Security+, SSCP) – demonstrates interest in the security field

What We Offer

  • Career Development: Opportunity to gain hands-on experience with enterprise security platforms and build a foundation for a cybersecurity career.
  • Standby Allowance: Competitive compensation for standby/on-call duties.
  • Stable Environment: Work on a critical infrastructure project with long-term operational support requirements.
  • Collaborative Team: Work alongside experienced security architects and engineers.

To Apply: Please submit your CV highlighting your hands-on experience with infrastructure setup, virtualization, and any exposure to security tools or platforms. Candidates with a genuine interest in cybersecurity are strongly encouraged to apply.
