To support the implementation, monitoring and continual improvement of the KJTS's Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE) Management System while ensuring compliance with applicable legal, customer and company requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Implement and monitor QHSE policies, procedures and safe work practices while ensuring compliance with applicable legal, environmental and ISO management system requirements.
Conduct HIRARC, site inspections, safety audits and incident investigations and monitor corrective and preventive actions to minimise workplace risks.
Coordinate QHSE training, toolbox talks, safety awareness programmes, emergency response drills and maintain employee competency records.
Maintain QHSE documentation, prepare reports and KPI updates, promote a positive safety culture and support continuous improvement initiatives across the organisation.
Requirements
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
Degree in Safety & Health Management or relevant qualification.
3-5 years of experience in the related industry.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED
Knowledge in OSHA Act, EQA, FMA and ISO management systems.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); knowledge of maintenance tracking systems is a plus.
Able to multitask and prioritize technical and administrative responsibilities.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work independently and take initiative in resolving issues.
