We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Student Assistant to support our Medical Safety team on a full-time basis. You will be involved in a variety of operational and administrative tasks while contributing to the continuous improvement of internal safety processes. This position offers valuable exposure to pharmacovigilance activities within a global pharmaceutical environment and is ideal for students looking to explore a career in drug safety and regulatory science.

Key Responsibilities (include, but are not limited to):
- Provide general administrative support to the Medical Safety team
- Generate data listings and outputs from safety databases; prepare datasets using Excel functions such as pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and charts
- Perform weekly literature surveillance to identify cases, including monitoring the literature mailbox, retrieving relevant publications, and preparing QC lists
- Perform quality checks (QC) on safety and regulatory documents to ensure submission readiness, including:
- Populating front pages
- Formatting and cross-referencing
- Inserting EndNote citations
- Compiling and organizing reports
- Upload finalized documents to relevant systems or shared drives for archiving
- Support creation of visual materials such as PowerPoint presentations and data visualizations
- Maintain internal tracking tools (e.g., Medical Review & Assessment rota)
- Carry out other ad hoc tasks as assigned
Basic Qualifications
- Minimum: Recent Diploma or bachelor’s degree holder in a science-related discipline
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Interest in pursuing a career in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with Excel formulas and formatting tools preferred
- High attention to detail, good organizational skills, and a positive attitude
- Ability to work independently and collaborate in a team-oriented environment
