About the Role & Team
We are expanding our operations team and looking for a high-ownership Operations Executive / Associate to serve as the operational co-pilot to our Operations Director. This is not a role for someone who just wants to check boxes on a manual checklist.
You will be working side-by-side with leadership to not only execute daily merchant operations but actively rebuild, clean up, and scale our processes as we grow our regional footprint. If you love looking at a messy spreadsheet or a manual workflow and figuring out how to make it 10x faster and error-free, you will thrive in our high-impact team.
Your Core Mission
- Own the Merchant Journey: Manage the end-to-end merchant onboarding lifecycle. You will handle corporate verification/KYC processes, actively track approval pipelines, and resolve bottlenecks to get merchants live efficiently.
- Drive Operational Excellence: Partner closely with team leadership to audit current workflows, map out clean Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and eliminate repetitive manual friction.
- Maintain Data Integrity: Keep our internal systems and performance tracking clean. You will ensure that operational metrics and merchant data records are flawless, providing a reliable foundation for the business to scale.
- Problem Solve Daily: Act as the primary, go-to teammate for resolving daily transaction exceptions, operational hurdles, and merchant inquiries.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience: 1 to 3 years of professional experience in a fast-paced environment, preferably within fintech, digital payments, or e-commerce.
- A "Builder" Mindset: A proactive professional who naturally asks "How can we do this better next time?" instead of just executing tasks passively.
- Meticulous Eye for Detail: A high standard for clean data, organized documentation, and spotting the tiny inconsistencies that others miss.
- Communication: Clear, direct communication style with the ability to collaborate effectively across a lean, agile team.
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in written and spoken English. Professional fluency in Mandarin is highly preferred to collaborate and communicate effectively with counterparts based in China.
- Adaptability: Self-starter who enjoys the energy of a dynamic team and feels comfortable navigating ambiguity and shifting priorities
