We are partnering with a leading organisation in the financial services industry to hire a Senior Software Engineer to join their IT Technology Platform team. This role will focus on designing, developing, and enhancing enterprise applications while supporting digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise applications based on business requirements.
• Deliver integration and interface solutions for internal and external systems.
• Develop and implement Single Sign-On (SSO) capabilities for digital platforms.
• Perform system impact analysis, architecture design, coding, testing, and deployment.
• Conduct code reviews and non-functional testing to ensure high-quality delivery.
• Evaluate technology solutions and recommend improvements aligned with business needs.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and cross-functional stakeholders to manage project priorities and delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in Java/J2EE application development.
• 7+ years of hands-on full stack development experience.
• Strong experience with:
• Java/J2EE frameworks (Spring, Struts, JSP)
• JavaScript and modern frontend frameworks (Angular / Vue.js)
• Node.js, REST/SOAP APIs, and microservices architecture
• Experience with cloud-native development, Kubernetes, VMware TKGI/TAS, and DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
• Knowledge of event-driven architecture using Kafka or similar technologies.
• Understanding of authentication and security frameworks (OAuth, OIDC, SAML2).
• Experience with source control and collaboration tools such as BitBucket, Jira, and Confluence.
• Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
