• Provides support and co-leading with construction and project managers to include receiving, logging, reviewing, tracking, expediting, and distribution of submittals, RFIs, and other project control documentation.
• Receives and reviews submittals returned from the architect or engineer and notifies the project team of potential cost and/or schedule impacts based on review comments.
• Develops a comprehensive working knowledge and understanding of the contract documents (plans, specifications, schedule, etc.).
• Collects data, assembles, and distributes various weekly reports as required.
• Assists the project manager, superintendent and procurement with purchasing, expediting and receiving material and equipment for the project.
• Assists in the preparation, issuance, and receipt of bid packages between field teams and procurement for review and tabulation.
• Assists with managing the project schedule on a regular basis, identifies schedule conflicts, and assists the construction and project managers in their resolution.
• Actively manages field coordination of subcontractors and quality management.
• Manages and maintains all project documentation to ensure the most current project documents are communicated to the construction team.
• Drives the project team in the timely completion of all required project closeout documents per contract, including turnover packages, as-builts, O&M manuals, warranties, owner training, punch lists, and other related items.
• Assists with scheduling of project team meetings with all required personnel; takes and issues meeting minutes as required.
• Performs other ad hoc duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualification: A bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum Years of Experience: More than 5 years of working experience.
• Type of Experience: Experience working on construction projects and in a fast-paced environment is preferred.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Safety Course(s): A workplace safety and health risk management course is preferred.
