About the role

Inovatif Motor Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Area Manager to oversee multiple retail locations within the Kota Kinabalu, Sabah region. As an Area Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving the company's strategic objectives, ensuring operational excellence, and fostering an engaged and productive team across your assigned stores.

What you'll be doing

1. Manage and coordinate the day-to-day operations of multiple retail stores within your assigned area

2. Provide leadership, coaching, and development to store managers and their teams to drive sales, customer service, and operational efficiency

3. Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure stores are meeting or exceeding their targets

4. Identify and address any issues or challenges that arise within the stores, and implement corrective actions as needed

5. Collaborate with the regional and corporate teams to execute marketing campaigns, product launches, and other initiatives

6. Manage staffing, scheduling, and training for your area to maintain a high-performing and motivated workforce

7. Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 2 years of experience in a multi-site retail management role, preferably in the Retail & Consumer Products industry

2. Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams

3. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on driving continuous improvement

4. Proficient in data analysis and using insights to inform business decisions

5. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with various stakeholders

6. Familiarity with retail operations, including inventory management, supply chain, and customer service

7. Willingness to travel within the assigned area and work a flexible schedule as needed
