Position: Security Architect

Employment Type: Permanent

Location: Kuala Lumpur

Working Arrangement: Onsite, 5 days a week (Monday to Friday)

Working Hours in MY time: 9AM - 6PM

About the Role

We are seeking a Security Architect to lead the design and implementation of secure digital solutions across enterprise platforms. You will drive security-by-design initiatives, shape security architecture, and embed security throughout the software development lifecycle while partnering with business and technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and govern security architecture across mobile applications, web applications, APIs, and third-party integrations.
• Lead threat modeling, architecture reviews, and secure code review initiatives to identify and mitigate security risks.
• Embed security-by-design principles into platform development, application development, and engineering processes.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance on application, cloud, API, data, and identity security to engineering teams and senior stakeholders.
• Define and promote secure SDLC practices, security automation, and developer enablement initiatives.
• Collaborate with business, engineering, and regulatory stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, and compliant digital solutions.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as a Security Architect or Principal Security Architect, with expertise in enterprise security architecture and secure software development.
• Strong knowledge of Secure Development Lifecycle (SDLC), security architecture, threat modeling, and security-by-design principles.
• Proven experience securing mobile applications, web applications, APIs, and third-party integrations.
• Strong understanding of Data Privacy & Protection, Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM), and broader Identity & Access Management (IAM) concepts.
• Proficient in at least one programming language, with experience reviewing code, identifying security vulnerabilities, and providing engineering guidance.
• Experience engaging senior leadership and cross-functional teams, with a background in Banking, Financial Services, or FinTech preferred.

Pay: RM9,000.00 - RM18,000.00 per month
