Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Manager to join our Vehicle Security team in Singapore. This role owns cybersecurity at both the system and the project level for vehicle, leading system-level security design from requirements and architecture through to software, and acting as the accountable owner for project cybersecurity delivery across the concept, development, validation, production, and operations phases.

The ideal candidate combines deep technical grounding in embedded platforms and security with proven project leadership: driving TARA and cybersecurity case development, defining technical specifications that subsystem teams can implement, and coordinating customers, suppliers, and third-party assessment organisations to deliver on schedule and to standard.

Key Responsibilities

Security Design & Architecture

  • Lead system-level cybersecurity design for vehicle and component products; own the delivery of system security requirements, system architecture, software requirements, and software architecture, ensuring security mechanisms are deeply integrated with business functionality.
  • Lead threat analysis and risk assessment (TARA); author core documents including the cybersecurity concept and Cybersecurity Case; define sound security goals and claims.
  • Define cybersecurity technical specifications and best practices (e.g., key management, secure boot, secure communication, diagnostic access control) and drive their implementation across subsystems.

Technology Research & Standards

  • Research emerging cybersecurity technologies; tackle complex system-level problems and challenges through focused technical investigation, delivering solutions that support continuous innovation and optimisation.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the company's cybersecurity management system, including authoring internal standards, and represent the company in external automotive cybersecurity standardisation activities.

Project Cybersecurity Leadership

  • Act as the accountable owner of project cybersecurity: define the project cybersecurity plan, track milestones across concept, development, validation, production, and operations, and coordinate internal R&D, testing, compliance, and supplier resources to ensure on-time, high-quality delivery.
  • Lead project-level cybersecurity risk decisions; organise rapid response to serious vulnerabilities, compliance deviations, and supply-chain security issues exposed during development, delivering solutions and driving them to closure.

Stakeholder & Review Management

  • Interface with customers, suppliers, and third-party test organisations on cybersecurity requirements and technical clarifications; manage change requests (CRs), align internal and external expectations, and control project scope and risk.
  • Organise cybersecurity reviews at each project stage (e.g., design review, test review, release review); produce project status reports and present key progress and decision items to management.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Communications, Electronic Engineering, Automotive Electronics, or a related discipline. Significant experience leading cybersecurity engineering projects in the automotive or embedded systems domain.
  • Hands-on development experience with Linux (or Android, QNX) application software and BSP.
  • Solid understanding of computer network communication principles, cryptography, and cybersecurity engineering (ISO/SAE 21434).
  • Practical project and/or team management experience; familiarity with automotive electronics development processes (V-model, Agile).
  • Experience in developing cybersecurity-related products.
  • Strong logical and analytical skills, demonstrated ability to learn new technologies quickly, and innovative mindset, a collaborative team player with strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred

  • PMP or equivalent project management certification.
  • Experience in in-vehicle terminal software development (e.g., T-Box, IVI).
  • Experience in embedded systems software development.

Why Join Us

  • Own cybersecurity end-to-end on live automotive programmes spanning ADAS, IVI, and autonomous driving — decisions you make directly affect products on the road.
  • Collaborate with a global team across Singapore, Shenzhen, Germany, and Japan on next-generation AI-assisted cybersecurity toolchains.
  • Direct interface with OEM and Tier-1 supplier security teams — building expertise no pure-lab environment can offer.
