Employment type: Contract (12 months) + possibility of extension

Salary: Up to $6,500/month + AWS + Performance Bonus + Loyalty Bonus

We are looking for a Product Operations Engineer to join a government technology team. You will build and evolve the operational foundations that enable product teams to deliver mission outcomes — working within an AI-native Product Operations (ProductOps) pipeline.

What you'll do:

• Run and improve operational processes — planning cadences, cross-team coordination, governance, and documentation
• Maintain and improve internal ProductOps products (knowledge platform, design system, AI co-pilot, product health dashboard)
• Use AI tools fluently in day-to-day work and help bring new AI-enabled tools into the team
• Build dashboards, metrics, and reporting that help teams make evidence-based decisions
• Drive adoption and rollout of internal products across teams

What we're looking for:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, computer science, information systems, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in product operations, product management, UX/product design, product strategy, or a closely related role
• Experience building operational capability in complex, multi-stakeholder environments
• Comfortable with product analytics, defining metrics, and turning data into insights
• Systems thinker who can work through ambiguity and design simple, scalable solutions
• Fluency with AI tools in a work context and a habit of exploring new tools
• Experience building AI-assisted workflows, automations, or tooling (e.g. LLM-based assistants, agentic workflows, prompt engineering) is a plus
• Able to operate within security and compliance constraints typical of a government environment
