Job Description:
- Ensure the implementation of the plant's EHS system, assess occupational safety hazards, and implement control measures.
- Plan and participate in the annual ISO internal audits and safety inspections, conduct workplace environmental monitoring, and follow up on corrective actions for deficiencies.
- Conduct accident investigations and reporting management, and supervise the implementation of corrective measures.
- Lead the emergency response team and plan and implement emergency drills, while supervising the effectiveness of fire protection facilities.
- Manage contractors and assist in organizing EHS training.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Engineering or related field.
- Min. 2 years of experience in OSH related work and managing ISO 14001 & 45001 systems.
- Proven experience in First Aid, Fire Safety, and Chemical Handling (including CHRA and HAZMAT).
- Experience in leading an emergency response team or acting as an emergency commander.
- Certified Safety and Health Officer (SHO) is added an advantage.
- ISO 14001 & 45001 Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor certification.
- Proficiency in speak, read, and write Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking contractors.
