Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily cooling tower assembly activities carried out by subcontractors at overseas sites.
  • Ensure subcontractors follow construction drawings, installation guidelines, timelines, and quality standards.
  • Align on-site activities with the project schedule and coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely resource availability.
  • Identify and manage site-related issues, taking corrective actions or escalating to the superior or regional office support team based in Malaysia.
  • Prepare and submit daily site reports and timesheets, highlighting progress, manpower, challenges, and corrective measures.
  • Enforce adherence to safety practices, quality requirements, and Seagull's standard operating procedures.
  • Serve as the main on-site representative, maintaining professional communication with clients and reporting to Project Manager.
  • Ensure all required checklists, photos, and reports are documented properly throughout the project.
  • Coordinate site logistics including material delivery, equipment mobilization, and work area readiness.
  • Carry out any other tasks or responsibilities assigned by the Project Manager or immediate superior as required to support successful project execution.

Job Requirement

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., OSHA, site safety, or project supervision) are a plus.
  • Minimum 5 years of site supervision experience in mechanical or industrial projects.
  • Experience working with or supervising subcontractors on overseas construction/assembly projects is highly preferred.
  • Strong background in HVAC systems or cooling towers is an added advantage.
  • Leadership and team coordination skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Able to prepare site reports and documentation using Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Good critical thinking and on-the-spot problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work in physically demanding site environments.
  • Independent, proactive, and resourceful in managing overseas assignments.
  • Willing and available to travel extensively and remain overseas for long periods, depending on project schedules.
  • Flexible in working hours to coordinate across time zones and respond to site demands.
  • Must possess a valid passport and be physically fit to work at remote or industrial sites.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
