Sobena Offshore Inc. Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a motivated and hands-on Engineer to support our manufacturing operations at our Kemaman Plant. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining production efficiency, troubleshooting CNC machines, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives to ensure operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of CNC machines and related equipment.
• Analyze machine breakdowns and implement effective corrective actions.
• Support production activities to minimize downtime and maximize machine utilization.
• Monitor machine performance and recommend improvements to enhance productivity.
• Coordinate with production, maintenance, and quality teams to resolve technical issues.
• Prepare maintenance reports and maintain accurate records of machine performance.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company procedures.
• Participate in continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• Minimum 1–3 years of working experience in a manufacturing or machining environment.
• Experience in CNC machine troubleshooting and maintenance is required.
• Knowledge of CNC programming, machining processes, and manufacturing equipment will be an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Fresh graduates with relevant CNC internship or project experience may also be considered.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
