Cagamas is seeking an experienced Head, Operations to lead the end-to-end operational management of the Company's purchased financial asset portfolios, guarantee schemes, and reverse mortgage business.

This role is responsible for overseeing post-purchase and post-guarantee operations, portfolio servicing and reporting, collections and remittances, recovery and foreclosure monitoring, as well as operational support for securitisation transactions and Skim Saraan Bercagar (SSB). The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring operational excellence, regulatory compliance, stakeholder engagement, and continuous process enhancement across Cagamas' business activities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Lead and oversee operational management of Cagamas' financial asset portfolios, including loan purchases, securitisation transactions, and guarantee schemes.
2. Manage post-purchase, collections, remittance, reporting, recovery, foreclosure, and servicing-related activities.
3. Oversee the administration and operations of Cagamas SRP guarantee portfolios and Skim Saraan Bercagar (SSB).
4. Ensure accurate and timely reporting to regulators, rating agencies, counterparties, trustees, and other stakeholders.
5. Drive operational enhancements, process improvements, and system development initiatives to support business growth and strategic objectives.
6. Review and strengthen operational controls, policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.
7. Monitor portfolio performance, identify trends and risks, and provide operational insights to support decision-making.
8. Lead stakeholder engagement with financial institutions, regulators, servicers, government agencies, rating agencies, valuers, solicitors, and other external parties.
9. Manage, develop, and mentor the Operations team to ensure high performance and continuous capability building.
10. Act as an authorised signatory for operational transactions, payments, and contractual documentation within approved authority limits.

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Banking, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
2. Minimum 15 years of experience in banking, financial services, mortgage operations, asset servicing, loan administration, or related fields.
3. At least 5 years in a senior managerial or leadership role.
4. Strong knowledge of retail lending, housing finance, loan servicing, recovery and foreclosure processes.
5. Exposure to securitisation, structured finance, capital markets, or guarantee schemes would be an added advantage.
6. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management capabilities.
7. Excellent leadership, communication, and people management skills.
8. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and business reporting tools.
