Finance Executive

1. Prepare and submit withholding tax returns in a timely and accurate manner.
2. Prepare and submit the monthly GST return in compliance with statutory requirements.
3. Prepare monthly financial statements and ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records.
4. Liaise with external auditors and provide the necessary schedules and supporting documents during the year-end audit.
5. Prepare the monthly company tax provision.
6. Prepare the monthly Gross Profit (GP) Report, Sales Report, and Inventory Report for management reporting.
7. Perform account reconciliations and make the necessary journal entries and adjustments to ensure the accuracy of financial records.
8. Record trade invoices and credit notes (CN) accurately in SAP.
9. Review and verify payment vouchers prepared by Accounts Associates to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with company policies before processing.

Qualifications & Requirements:

1. Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
2. Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in financial accounting or a similar finance role.
3. Good understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, GST, and withholding tax requirements.
4. Experience in preparing financial statements, account reconciliations, and month-end closing activities.
5. Experience in liaising with external auditors and assisting with year-end audits.
6. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
7. Experience with SAP ERP or other accounting systems is preferred.
8. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills with attention to detail.
9. Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and meet tight reporting deadlines.
10. Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
11. A proactive, responsible, and team-orientated attitude with a commitment to accuracy and continuous improvement.
