Responsibility:

As a Lorry Driver, need to responsible to deliver various items to different addresses as assigned and send off and pick up worker from sites if necessary. Everyday have to arrangement and report the delivery schedule with the Manager. Ensuring that vehicles have enough gasoline and is ready for use and keep maintenance, clear and vehicle repairs when necessary.

Job Description:

• Safely transport goods, materials, and equipment related to business support services (e.g., event materials, loyalty programme items) between various locations.

• Load and unload goods from the lorry, ensuring items are properly secured and protected during transit.

• Plan delivery routes efficiently to ensure timely deliveries and pickups, accounting for traffic and road conditions.

• Conduct regular checks on the lorry to ensure it is in good working condition, performing routine maintenance tasks such as checking tire pressure, oil levels, and ensuring cleanliness.

• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery receipts and logbooks, and report any incidents or delays to the supervisor.

• Interact with clients and event partners courteously during pickups and deliveries, representing the company in a professional manner.

• Adhere to all local traffic laws and regulations, as well as company policies regarding safe driving practices.

• Occasionally assist with the setup or breakdown of event materials when required, ensuring all equipment is transported safely and efficiently.

• Need working on split shift, weekends and Public Holiday.

Working area at Islandwide, the 1st trip will be start 530am-630am.

Requirement:

• At least 2 Year(s) of working experience and have experience in the related field is required for this position.

• Must possess at least higher Education/ Diploma in any field.

• Possess a Singapore Class 3 driving license or able to take Class 3 Driving License.

• Familiar driving on Singapore roads or able to use GPS

• Strategic & critical thinking as well as decision-making and negotiation skills.

• Able to adapt, prioritize, exercise initiative, manage pressure, multi task and work independently.

• Excellent customer service skills, including communication skills, problem solving skills, organizational skills and teamwork spirit.

• Time management/ meticulous and mature in work.
