The Finance Shared Services Manager is responsible for leading the Finance Shared Services Centre (SSC) in Penang, supporting the Singapore Finance organisation across Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), Financial Reporting and FP&A.

As part of a regional healthcare administration and Third-Party Administrator (TPA) business, you will oversee the day-to-day operations, people management and service delivery of the Finance SSC while ensuring alignment with Singapore Finance leadership.

Location: Bayan Lepas, Penang (Hybrid)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operations of the Penang Finance Shared Services Centre supporting Singapore operations.
• Oversee finance operations across AP, AR, GL, Financial Reporting and FP&A.
• Monitor service delivery, operational performance and key finance metrics to ensure accuracy, efficiency and timely reporting.
• Drive process improvements, standardisation and continuous improvement initiatives across the Finance Shared Services Centre.
• Maintain strong financial controls and ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards and internal controls.
• Support finance system implementations, user acceptance testing (UAT) and system enhancement initiatives.
• Lead, coach and develop the Finance Shared Services team, fostering a collaborative, high-performing and service-oriented culture.
• Partner with Singapore Finance leaders to align operational priorities and deliver high-quality finance services.
• Support internal and external audits while ensuring appropriate governance, documentation and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related field.
• Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA or CIMA) will be an advantage.

Experience

• Minimum 8 years of finance experience, including at least 3–5 years in a leadership role.
• Experience leading Finance Shared Services or Finance Operations teams.
• Exposure to regional or shared services environments is preferred.
• Experience working with regional stakeholders in a matrix reporting environment.
• Experience with ERP systems; Oracle NetSuite experience will be an advantage.
• Experience in healthcare, insurance, TPA or other service-based industries will be an advantage.
