Hair Salon Manager Responsibilities

Hairdressing Skills & Service Process

• Proficient in haircutting, coloring, perming, and hair care procedures

• Able to personally provide professional hairdressing services to ensure technical quality and customer satisfaction

• Guide and supervise hairstylists to follow proper standards, maintaining consistent service quality

Salon Operations Management

• Responsible for daily business arrangements to ensure smooth salon operations

• Develop and implement service procedures and standards to enhance customer experience

Staff Management

• Recruit, train, and evaluate hairstylists and service staff

• Manage scheduling, attendance, and performance to improve team efficiency

Customer Service

• Welcome clients, handle inquiries and complaints, and ensure customer satisfaction

• Build strong client relationships to increase loyalty and reputation

Finance & Sales Management

• Supervise cashiering, accounting, and cost control

• Plan promotional activities and membership programs to boost revenue

Hygiene & Safety

• Ensure the salon environment is clean and meets hygiene standards

• Oversee equipment use and maintenance to guarantee safety

Marketing & Promotion

• Plan and execute online and offline promotional campaigns

• Establish partnerships with nearby communities or businesses to expand clientele

Strategic Planning

• Analyze market trends and propose improvements and development strategies
