Job Description
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook food according to the restaurant's recipes, quality standards, and SOPs.
- Ensure all food is prepared and served in a timely manner while maintaining consistency in quality and presentation.
- Assist with food preparation, including cutting, marinating, portioning, and other mise en place duties.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and hygienic kitchen, ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Ensure proper storage, handling, and stock rotation (FIFO) of all food ingredients to minimise wastage.
- Monitor inventory levels and inform the Head Chef or Outlet Manager when stock replenishment is required.
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen and service teams to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and report any equipment faults or maintenance issues promptly.
- Be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of food quality and cleanliness.
- Perform any other duties or responsibilities as assigned by the Head Chef or Outlet Manager.
