Responsibilities:

• Define and maintain solution architecture standards, frameworks, and technical roadmaps to support scalability, maintainability, performance, and security objectives.
• Lead technical design and architecture of software solutions.
• Guide and mentor engineering teams on development standards and best practices.
• Review software designs, source code, and technical implementation.
• Make key technology and architecture decisions.
• Drive resolution of complex technical challenges and production issues.
• Lead core software development, ensure adherence to architectural standards and software quality practices.
• Provide level 2/3 support and technical consultation for customers, including onsite and offsite troubleshooting for local and overseas systems.
• Partner closely with Project Manager to provide technical solutioning, effort estimation, risk assessment, resource planning, and project delivery strategy.
• Participate in requirement discussions and translate business requirements into technical solution designs.
• Identify technical risks, dependencies, and constraints early and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Support project planning, execution, and stakeholder communication from a technical perspective.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Analyst Engineers and Software Engineers.
• Assign technical tasks, monitor implementation progress, and ensure delivery quality.
• Establish engineering standards, coding practices, and design review processes.
• Drive code quality initiatives through design reviews, code reviews, refactoring, and adherence to development best practices.
• Continuously identify technical enhancements to improve performance, scalability (Distributed Databases), and user experience.
• Evaluate new technologies and platforms (Web, Desktop, and Kiosk) to guide strategic tech direction.

Requirements:

• Minimum 8–10 years of software development experience with at least 3–5 years in a Technical Lead, Solution Architect, or equivalent leadership role.
• Experience: Proven experience in a Solution Architect or Technical Lead capacity with a strong background in software engineering.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of the full SDLC and Agile methodologies. Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD), SOLID principles, design patterns, and enterprise application architecture.
• Solution Planning & Estimation: Strong experience in technical effort estimation, solution sizing, impact analysis, and technical risk assessment.
• Core Programming: Advanced C#/.NET Mastery including asynchronous programming (async/await), LINQ, Generics, and Reflection.
• Strong experience in WPF and custom rendering technologies, including GDI+ and related graphics frameworks.
• Experience developing distributed services using WCF, REST APIs, or related communication technologies.
• Database: Advanced MSSQL skills, including experience with distributed database architectures, replication, partitioning, performance optimization, and high-availability solutions.
• Memory Management: Proficient in using profiling tools to track heap allocation and handle memory/handle leaks.
• Performance Engineering: Experience designing and optimizing high-performance, scalable, and highly available systems.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or equivalent) and modern DevOps practices would be an advantage.
• Documentation: Expert in preparing project documents (SRS, RTM, System Design Specs, Test Cases, Technical/User Manuals, and Installation Guides).
