The Software Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining manufacturing applications platform. The engineer is expected to adopt modern software engineering practices and leverage AI-assisted development tools.

Responsibilities

Full-Stack Development

• Develop and maintain backend services, REST APIs, databases, and windows/web-based user interfaces.
• Build intuitive, responsive, and user-centric applications using modern development frameworks.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to deliver effective user experiences.
• Support end-to-end solution delivery across frontend, backend, and data layers.
  
  

AI & Analytics Integration

• Integrate analytics, AI, and intelligent recommendations.
• Develop capabilities that utilize predictive insights, anomaly detection, and future AI-driven features.
• Build intelligent workflows that improve operational decision-making and productivity.
  
  

Software Engineering Excellence

• Apply Agile development practices, design reviews, code reviews, and automated testing.
• Contribute to technical design, architecture discussions, and engineering standards.
• Develop high-quality, maintainable, and testable software solutions.
• Continuously improve engineering practices, code quality, and development efficiency.
  
  

DevOps & AI-Assisted Development

• Support CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment processes.
• Utilize AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and software quality.
• Participate in monitoring, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement activities.
• Adopt modern engineering practices and emerging technologies where appropriate.
  
  

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

• Work closely with Architect, Software Engineers, UI/UX Designers, SQ Engineers, and Manufacturing SMEs.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions and actionable deliverables.
• Participate in solution reviews, feature validation, and user acceptance activities.
  
  

Qualifications

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of software development experience.
• Proficient in C#, Angular, .NET, REST APIs, MSSQL, Python, cloud and microservices architecture.
• Strong understanding of software design principles, design patterns, object-oriented programming, and distributed systems.
• Experience developing scalable, secure, and maintainable enterprise applications.
• Experience with Git/BitBucket, JIRA, Jenkins, CI/CD, and automated testing.
• Familiarity with Docker, containerization, deployment automation, and cloud technologies.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted software development tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, etc.).
• Understanding of AI/ML concepts, workflow automation, and intelligent software capabilities.
• Ability to translate business processes and operational requirements into scalable software solutions.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills with technical and business stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities.
• Self-motivated with a passion for continuous learning and innovation.
• Team player with a positive attitude and customer-focused mindset.
