Pre-Sales Engineer (Cybersecurity & Cloud)

Location: Kuala Lumpur (Hybrid – 2 days office, 3 days WFH)

Overview

A global technology company is looking for two Pre-Sales Engineers to support technical sales activities across Southeast Asia. This role partners closely with the sales team to design solutions, deliver customer presentations, and provide technical expertise throughout the sales cycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide pre-sales technical support and solution consulting.
• Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations.
• Develop solution designs, proposals, and PoC documentation.
• Support customer engagements, technical evaluations, and RFIs/RFPs.
• Collaborate with regional Sales, Product, and Engineering teams.

Requirements

• 3–10 years' experience in a customer-facing pre-sales or solutions engineering role.
• Strong knowledge of Cybersecurity, Cloud Security, and networking technologies.
• Good understanding of CDN, DNS, HTTP, TCP/IP, and DDoS concepts.
• Experience supporting enterprise customers and technical sales engagements.
• Fluent in spoken and reading in Mandarin.
• Basic Linux knowledge is an advantage.
• Willing to travel when required.
