ob SummaryWe are seeking a highly organized and results-driven Warehouse and Logistic Executive to oversee our facility's end-to-end supply chain operations. You will manage incoming materials, supervise daily inventory, and ensure the seamless, cost-effective distribution of finished goods to meet production demands and customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities1. Warehouse Operations & Inventory Control
- Oversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking, and dispatching raw materials and finished goods.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels by conducting regular cycle counts and full physical inventory exercises.
- Enforce FIFO (First-In, First-Out) and FEFO (First-Expired, First-Out) protocols to minimize material waste and shelf-life losses.
- Optimize warehouse storage utilization and layout to improve material flow and operational efficiency. [1]
2. Logistics & Transport Coordination
- Collaborate with internal departments (Production, Sales, Procurement) to plan and execute efficient delivery schedules.
- Liaise and negotiate with transporters, freight forwarders, and shipping lines to secure cost-effective delivery rates.
- Coordinate import/export documentation, customs clearance, and shipping schedules for regional or global distribution.
- Monitor transporter performance to ensure on-time delivery and minimal damage to goods in transit. [1, 2, 3, 4]
3. Documentation & System Management
- Verify Delivery Orders (DO), Purchase Orders (PO), and invoices before processing.
- Ensure all logistics and warehousing data is accurately updated in the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Prepare and analyze regular logistics and inventory reports to track performance metrics and identify cost-saving opportunities. [1, 2]
4. Safety, Compliance & Quality
- Enforce strict compliance with OSHA, OHS&E standards, and company safety protocols.
- Maintain the workplace in accordance with 5S and ISO (e.g., ISO 9001:2015) quality management requirements.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of hazardous materials (if applicable in manufacturing) and perform regular safety audits. [1]
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 3 - 5 years of working experience in warehouse and logistics operations, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- System Skills: Hands-on experience with supply chain management software (e.g., SAP MM/WM, Oracle) and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
