Japanese-Speaking Network Engineer Opportunities in Malaysia

We are currently hiring Japanese-speaking Network Engineers for both Junior and Experienced (Security TAC) positions with a leading multinational IT services company in Kuala Lumpur.

Location: Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Employment Type: Full-time

Position 1: Junior Network Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to Japanese-speaking customers
• Assist senior engineers with network troubleshooting
• Document technical issues and solutions in Japanese and English
• Collaborate with global engineering teams
• Gain hands-on experience in Enterprise Networking, Collaboration, Service Provider Networking, and Network Security

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in IT Support, Helpdesk, Service Desk, or Network Support
• Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, Linguistics, or a related field
• JLPT N1/N2 or native-level Japanese
• Good English communication skills
• Passion for technology and eagerness to learn

Position 2: Network Support Engineer – Security

Responsibilities

• Provide L2/L3 technical support for enterprise networking and security products
• Troubleshoot Firewall, VPN, IDS/IPS, Email Security, Web Security, and related technologies
• Perform root cause analysis and resolve complex technical issues
• Work closely with global customers and engineering teams
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain high customer satisfaction

Requirements

• 3–6 years of experience in Network Security or Technical Support
• Strong knowledge of Firewall, VPN, IDS/IPS, Email Security, Web Security
• Solid understanding of Routing & Switching
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, ARP, IPSec, SSL VPN, and related protocols
• Experience using Wireshark (Python knowledge is an advantage)
• CCNA-level networking knowledge or above
• Fluent Japanese and English communication skills
