Responsibilities
- Provide technical input on project drawings, designs and operating parameters, and oversee construction engineering activities.
- Plan daily project activities using updated engineering drawings and monitor progress to ensure work is carried out according to project specifications.
- Support project cost control and ensure efficient utilisation of machinery, materials, spare parts and other resources.
- Review geotechnical conditions, including soil conditions and CPT information, to identify project risks and recommend mitigation measures.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including progress reports, progress claims, daily reports, site diaries and QA/QC reports.
- Prepare cost calculations, financial projections and project-related reports in a timely manner.
- Implement and maintain QA/QC and HSEQ requirements at project sites.
- Conduct checks and testing to ensure materials and work procedures comply with project and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, subcontractors, vendors and suppliers.
- Assist the Project Manager in preparing and monitoring project work schedules.
- Lead and coordinate site personnel to ensure safety, quality and productivity requirements are achieved.
Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering or a related discipline.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in ground improvement works.
- Experience in geotechnical or foundation-related construction projects will be advantageous.
- Valid Supervise Construction Work for WSH certification will be an advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project and AutoCAD.
- Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working at construction sites and in outdoor environments.
