Job Summary

Join URBNarc as an Intermediate Architectural Designer to contribute across project stages from concept to construction, collaborating closely with senior architects in a focused, design-driven studio environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop architectural designs from concept through detailed design stages to support project goals
• Produce high-quality drawings, models, and presentation materials to effectively communicate design intent
• Prepare authority submissions, tender documents, and construction documentation with accuracy
• Coordinate with consultants on design, technical issues, and compliance with building regulations
• Conduct site visits and participate in project coordination meetings to ensure design integrity and progress
• Draft material specifications and schedules of finishes to support project documentation
• Review shop drawings and consultant documents to maintain design standards and accuracy
• Maintain drawing accuracy and coordination across project teams to ensure seamless project delivery
• Engage actively in design discussions and studio reviews to refine architectural solutions

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Architectural degree preferably recognized by Board of Architects Singapore
• Minimum 6 years of professional experience, preferably in hospitality and residential projects; commercial or mixed-use experience is a bonus
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, 3D modeling software (SketchUp or Rhino), and Adobe Creative Suite
• Familiarity with Revit or BIM workflows is an advantage
• Fluency in freehand sketching as part of the design process
• Strong design ability and spatial understanding demonstrated through project work
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Care and precision in drawing and modeling
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
• Highly motivated with a strong work ethic and commitment to quality architectural work
