Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and experienced QA/QC Engineer (Electrical) to ensure that all electrical installation, testing, and commissioning activities comply with project specifications, applicable codes, and quality standards. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience and hold a Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) procedures for electrical works.
• Inspect electrical installations to ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, and approved method statements.
• Conduct inspections of materials, equipment, and completed electrical works.
• Review electrical shop drawings, material submittals, and technical documentation.
• Prepare and maintain Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), checklists, and quality records.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and project teams on quality-related matters.
• Witness and verify electrical testing, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities.
• Identify non-conformities (NCRs), recommend corrective and preventive actions, and verify their implementation.
• Ensure compliance with applicable electrical codes, safety regulations, and project quality standards.
• Prepare quality reports, inspection reports, and documentation for project records.
• Participate in internal and external quality audits.
• Support project teams in achieving quality objectives and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in QA/QC for electrical construction, MEP, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures, electrical standards, and inspection requirements.
• Familiarity with IEC, BS, NEC, or other relevant electrical codes and standards.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.

Pay: RM3,800.00 - RM7,851.19 per month
