Instructional Designer (Based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia)

Overview

We are seeking an Instructional Designer/Developer to build and deliver engaging learning experiences. This role focuses on course development, technical implementation, and integrating learning into the sales technology ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop e-learning courses using Articulate tools
• Generate SCORM-compliant content for LMS deployment
• Create assessments, quizzes, and interactive activities
• Work with video content and multimedia assets
• Embed training in sales platforms (Highspot, Salesforce, more) as needed
• Collaborate with SMEs to refine and structure base course content
• Support agile development processes (ADDIE, SAM)
• Assist in certification program delivery

Must-Have Skills & Experience

• Minimum 3 years of instructional design/development experience
• Experience with Articulate Rise and/or Storyline
• Experience creating SCORM-compliant training
• Ability to work with video and multimedia tools
• Experience building assessments and interactive learning experiences
• Strong collaboration skills with SMEs and stakeholders
• Familiarity with LMS and LxP platforms
• Basic understanding of SaaS and GTM processes
• Experience coding learning interactions and interactivity using illustrations, embeddable content areas, knowledge checks, videos, drag and drop, click and reveal, others
• Experience with voice over and synchronization, localization, and language translation

Nice-to-have Skills & Experience

• Experience integrating learning into sales tools (Salesforce, Teams channels, etc.)
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS or learning technologies
• Experience supporting sales enablement or customer-facing teams

Languages

• Fluency in English is required.
• Knowledge of Mandarin, Cantonese, or French is a plus.
