1. Configuration Management (CMDB):

• Maintain and update the CMDB with accurate and current configuration item (CI) data.
• Assist in defining and maintaining CI classes, attributes, and relationships.
• Perform regular audits of the CMDB to identify and correct discrepancies.
• Support impact analysis by providing accurate CI relationships and dependencies.
• Ensure data integrity and completeness across all CI records.
• Collaborate with service owners, technical teams, and asset management to validate and update CI data.
• Educate and train IT teams and stakeholders on configuration management policies, procedures, and right-first-time data entry practices

2. Reporting and Governance:

• Provide CMDB health and data quality reports.
• Support audits and compliance activities with data and process evidence.

Key requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• ITIL Foundation certification required; Intermediate certifications (e.g., Service Transition, RCV) preferred.
• 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience managing and governing a CMDB in a complex enterprise IT environment.
• Proficiency with enterprise ITSM platforms, particularly ServiceNow (including CSDM framework and discovery modules) or BMC Remedy.
• Understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure and services.

Additional Details:

• Salary Range: Up to RM9,300/month.
• Contract Duration: 12 Months (with potential of extension/conversion).
• Location: Jalan Tun Sambathan, Kuala Lumpur.
• Working Hour: Monday to Friday, 40 hours spread over 5 working days.

Pay: RM7,500.00 - RM9,300.00 per month
