Responsibilities

• Perform daily repair and maintenance of construction machinery and equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, servicing and maintenance work completed at the site or yard.
• Identify and report faults and requirements for machinery or equipment repair and replacement.
• Assist in diagnosing mechanical malfunctions and equipment issues.
• Assemble, set up and commission construction equipment used in operations.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Perform required repairs and follow up on outstanding maintenance work.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper housekeeping of machinery, equipment and work areas.
• Support equipment maintenance activities at both the yard and construction sites.

Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or ITE/NITEC certification in Automotive, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Approximately 2 to 4 years of experience in the maintenance and repair of heavy machinery or construction equipment.
• Hands-on mechanical troubleshooting and repair experience.
• Willing to work at construction sites and in outdoor environments under different weather conditions.
• Able to work a 6-day work week.
• Responsible, safety-conscious and able to work independently.
