We're Hiring | Senior Analog Layout Design Engineer

Location: Bayan Lepas, Penang, Malaysia (Onsite)

Contract Duration: August 3 – December 31, 2026

Experience: 8+ Years

We are looking for an experienced Analog Layout Design Engineer to join a leading semiconductor team in Penang. If you have strong expertise in analog and mixed-signal IC layout design and are passionate about delivering high-quality silicon, we'd love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the layout design of digital, analog, and mixed-signal ICs.
• Collaborate with circuit designers to achieve performance, area, and reliability targets.
• Perform floorplanning, placement, and routing optimization.
• Execute physical verification including DRC, LVS, ERC, and Reliability Verification (RV).
• Ensure compliance with foundry design rules and manufacturing requirements.
• Drive design reviews and mentor junior layout engineers.
• Develop and maintain layout methodologies and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, or a related field.

8+ years of experience in Analog/Mixed-Signal IC Layout Design.

Strong expertise in Cadence Virtuoso and other industry-standard EDA tools.

Deep understanding of transistor-level layout, device matching, parasitic effects, shielding, noise, and analog layout optimization.

Excellent analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.

Previous experience leading or mentoring layout engineers is an added advantage.
