- Hands-on Infrastructure & Security Position
Our client is a global organization building a new Global Engineering Organization (GEO) to strengthen internal software delivery, production reliability, infrastructure operations, and security capabilities. They are now looking for a Cybersecurity Engineer to implement, monitor, and improve security controls across business-critical systems and platforms.
This is a hands-on position requiring a practical, execution-focused security professional who can operate across hybrid environments and evolving security practices.
Responsibilities:
- Implement and improve security controls across servers, endpoints, cloud services, and network infrastructure
- Support vulnerability management, including scanning, prioritization, and remediation tracking
- Monitor and triage security alerts from SIEM, endpoint protection, identity systems, and network tools
- Investigate security incidents and support incident response activities
- Partner with infrastructure teams on server hardening, patching, and network security controls
- Embed security practices into DevOps and software engineering processes (DevSecOps)
- Support identity and access management including MFA, RBAC, and access reviews
- Assist with security tooling configuration, tuning, and operational support
- Support security reviews for systems, integrations, and technology changes
- Maintain security documentation, runbooks, and procedures
- Support audit and compliance evidence collection
- Communicate security risks and remediation status to stakeholders
Requirement:
- At least 4+ years of experience in cybersecurity or security engineering roles
- Hands-on experience with vulnerability management, incident response, and security monitoring
- Experience with security tools such as EDR, SIEM, vulnerability scanners, and IAM platforms
- Knowledge of Windows and Linux security practices
- Understanding of network security and access controls
- Experience supporting identity and access management practices
- Ability to investigate alerts and follow issues through resolution
- Understanding of application security and DevSecOps concepts
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently in distributed environments
