Job Role: Senior Developer

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Develop and customise SuiteCRM modules, custom views, business logic hooks, and workflow automation rules in close collaboration with client IT team
• Build Angular frontend features for the Customer Web Portal including account management, bill payment, service request, and consumption analytics interfaces
• Participate in onsite requirements review sessions and technical design workshops with client IT staff
• Implement REST API integrations between the CRM/Web Portal and backend ICX services with attention to data consistency and security
• Write unit and integration tests for developed components ensuring sprint deliverables meet quality gate criteria
• Conduct knowledge transfer sessions for client IT developers covering CRM customisation approaches, Angular architecture, and API integration patterns
• Support the BA team with technical feasibility assessments for complex CRM requirements
• Debug and resolve production defects during the parallel run and hypercare phases providing on-site support for critical issues
• Produce developer-facing documentation including SuiteCRM customisation guides, Angular component libraries, and API reference documentation
• Contribute to code reviews for offshore development team outputs ensuring technical consistency across CRM workstream deliverables
• Participate in all sprint ceremonies including planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives
• Support the Training Manager with technical content for end-user and super-user training materials related to CRM module workflows

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical discipline
• Minimum 8 years of software development experience with strong proficiency in both Angular and SuiteCRM/SymphonyCRM
• Expert Angular (v12+) skills including TypeScript, RxJS, component architecture, and Angular Material
• Deep SuiteCRM and/or SymphonyCRM development experience including custom module creation, Studio, Workflow module, logic hooks, and PHP customisation
• Strong REST API integration experience including OAuth2/JWT-secured API consumption
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a proven track record of direct client stakeholder engagement in an onshore development role
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web design
• Experience with Git version control and CI/CD pipeline concepts
• Ability to conduct technical knowledge transfer and training sessions with client IT teams
• Bahasa Malaysia proficiency is required for onsite stakeholder communication
• Experience in CRM implementation for utilities, government, or customer service organisations is strongly preferred
• Proactive problem-solving mindset with the ability to work independently and raise risks early
