Job Summary
The Warehouse Executive is responsible for planning and monitoring material requirements, maintaining accurate inventory records, and coordinating material availability to support production schedules. The role works closely with Warehouse, Production, Procurement, and Sales teams to prevent shortages and ensure smooth operational activities.
Responsibilities
- Monitor daily inventory movement, stock consumption, and material availability.
- Prepare and update material requirement lists based on production schedules and customer orders.
- Review minimum stock, safety stock, and reorder levels for critical materials.
- Identify potential material shortages and coordinate timely replenishment with the Procurement team.
- Ensure materials are picked, staged, and issued according to production priorities.
- Conduct periodic stock checks and investigate inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the ERP or Warehouse Management System.
- Identify slow-moving, excess, obsolete, or inactive materials and recommend appropriate actions.
- Follow up on missing, delayed, damaged, rejected, or insufficient materials.
- Coordinate with Production, Procurement, Sales, and other departments regarding material readiness.
- Prepare inventory, material shortage, stock movement, and warehouse performance reports.
- Maintain proper documentation and records for internal and external audits.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives relating to inventory accuracy, material flow, and warehouse efficiency.
- Perform other warehouse and inventory-related duties assigned by the management.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Warehouse Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–4 years of relevant experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, material planning, or a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of inventory management, Bill of Materials, stock control, and production scheduling.
- Experience using ERP, MRP, or Warehouse Management Systems.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is an advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Good attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Able to work under pressure and meet operational deadlines.
- Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Mandarin-speaking ability is an added advantage.
Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
