Job Purpose
The Data Science Lead will spearhead the data strategy and machine learning roadmap for PBA Group’s advanced robotics and smart manufacturing divisions. You will lead a team of data professionals to architect, deploy, and scale predictive models, computer vision systems, and prescriptive analytics that optimize robotic performance, predict equipment failures, and revolutionize factory floor automation for our global clientele.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Leadership & Roadmap Execution
Define the long-term data science, AI, and machine learning roadmap aligned with PBA Group’s core robotics and automation business objectives.
Translate complex industrial engineering problems into scalable data science initiatives and production-ready algorithms.
Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of data scientists and data engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and scientific rigor.
2. Advanced Analytics & Algorithm Development
Architect and oversee the development of predictive maintenance models, anomaly detection systems, and time-series forecasting for industrial robots and automation pipelines.
Champion the implementation of edge AI and computer vision algorithms for robotic perception, quality inspection, and spatial awareness.
Drive the end-to-end Machine Learning Lifecycle (MLOps), ensuring seamless deployment, monitoring, and retraining of models in live manufacturing environments.
