Purpose of the Job

To ensure production operations are carried out efficiently, safely, and in compliance with quality, food safety, and hygiene standards while achieving daily production targets and minimizing downtime.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and prepare the daily production schedule to meet production targets and customer requirements.
• Supervise and monitor daily production operations to ensure products are manufactured efficiently and in accordance with quality specifications.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, GMP, HACCP, Halal, and company SOP requirements throughout the production process.
• Monitor production performance, productivity, yield, and efficiency, and implement corrective actions where necessary.
• Identify, investigate, and resolve production issues relating to quality, output, raw materials, machinery, equipment, and manpower.
• Coordinate and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency in production processes.
• Supervise, lead, motivate, and evaluate production employees to maintain high performance and discipline.
• Plan and allocate manpower effectively to achieve optimum production efficiency.
• Work closely with the Maintenance, QA/QC and other departments to ensure smooth production operations.
• Investigate customer complaints or internal quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure all production records, reports, and documentation are completed accurately and submitted on time.
• Promote a safe working environment by ensuring compliance with occupational safety and health regulations.
• Perform any other duties or ad hoc assignments as directed by the Superior or Management.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Candidates with STPM/SPM and relevant working experience are also encouraged to apply.
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in a production supervisory role, preferably in the food manufacturing industry.
• Good knowledge of food safety, GMP, HACCP, Halal requirements, and manufacturing processes.
• Strong leadership, supervisory, and communication skills.
• Good problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational abilities.
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Willing and able to work on shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
