Machine Operation

· Operate CNC Milling, CNC Auto Lathe, CNC Turning, Wire Cut, EDM, or other assigned CNC machines.

· Load and unload workpieces according to the production schedule.

· Perform machine start-up and shutdown according to standard operating procedures.

· Ensure correct program selection before machining.

· Monitor machine operation to ensure smooth production.

Production Quality

· Produce parts according to engineering drawings and work instructions.

· Perform first-piece, in-process, and final visual inspections.

· Measure dimensions using vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, plug gauges, thread gauges, and other measuring instruments.

· Immediately report any out-of-tolerance parts to the supervisor or QA department.

· Segregate non-conforming products according to company procedures.

Machine Setup Support

· Install and remove fixtures, cutting tools, and workpieces as instructed.

· Verify tooling condition before production.

· Inform the supervisor when cutting tools require replacement or maintenance.

Productivity

· Achieve daily production targets.

· Minimize machine downtime.

· Ensure maximum machine utilization during working hours.

· Follow production priorities issued by the Production Planner or Supervisor.

Machine Maintenance

· Perform daily machine cleaning.

· Carry out basic preventive maintenance such as lubrication, coolant level checks, and chip removal.

· Report abnormal machine conditions immediately.

· Maintain machine cleanliness following 5S requirements.

Documentation

· Complete production reports accurately.

· Record production quantities, rejected quantities, and machine downtime.

· Update production records as required.

Material Handling

· Handle raw materials and finished products carefully to prevent damage.

· Ensure correct material identification and traceability.

· Store finished goods at designated locations.

Safety & Compliance

· Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

· Wear the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.

· Practice good housekeeping (5S) around the work area.

· Comply with ISO 9001 quality management requirements and company work instructions.

Teamwork

· Cooperate with supervisors, QA personnel, maintenance technicians, programmers, and other production staff.

· Support continuous improvement initiatives.

· Attend training sessions and toolbox meetings when required.

Authority

· Stop production and notify the supervisor if defective products are detected.

· Reject damaged tooling or unsafe equipment.

· Report safety hazards immediately.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

· Daily production output achievement.

· Product quality (rejection rate).

· Machine utilization.

· On-time completion of production orders.

· Compliance with 5S requirements.

· Attendance and punctuality.

· Safety compliance.

· Reduction of machine downtime.

Qualification

· Minimum SPM or equivalent.

· Certificate/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing is an added advantage.

Experience

· Minimum 1 year of CNC machine operation experience is preferred.

· Fresh graduates with relevant technical knowledge are encouraged to apply.

Skills & Competencies

· Ability to read engineering drawings.

· Basic understanding of GD&T is an advantage.

· Knowledge of measuring instruments.

· Basic understanding of CNC machining processes.

· Good communication and teamwork skills.

· Strong attention to detail.

· Willingness to work overtime and shifts when required.

Working Conditions

· Manufacturing environment.

· Standing for extended periods.

· Handling metal and plastic components.

· Exposure to machine noise, coolant, and cutting oil.

· Overtime and shift work may be required to meet production demands.

Pay: From RM1,700.00 per month
