We are partnering with a global technology leader specializing in advanced semiconductor equipment and automation solutions. As part of their continued growth in Malaysia, they are looking for a Project Engineer to support the execution of automation equipment projects, working closely with engineering, production, and customer teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage automation equipment projects from project handover to final customer acceptance.
• Review project requirements, identify potential risks, and coordinate mitigation plans.
• Develop and monitor project schedules to ensure timely delivery according to customer requirements.
• Coordinate with engineering, production, procurement, and quality teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Track project progress, resolve issues, and implement corrective actions when required.
• Ensure machine assembly, testing, tuning, and quality checks meet technical specifications.
• Support customer installation, commissioning, and acceptance activities.
• Coordinate project changes and ensure clear communication among internal teams and customers.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and ensure proper project closure.
• Provide leadership and coordination to project team members throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or related fields.
• Experience in automation, machinery, semiconductor equipment, or manufacturing industries is preferred.
• Experience in project coordination or equipment project management will be an added advantage.
• Strong technical understanding with good problem-solving and communication skills.
• Able to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
