Role:

The ITAM / CMDB Functional Consultant is responsible for architecting, designing, and delivering scalable and compliant IT Asset Management (ITAM) and Configuration Management Database (CMDB) solutions on the ServiceNow platform. This role requires deep functional knowledge of ITAM, CMDB, and adjacent ITSM processes, with hands-on experience in ServiceNow capabilities, data modeling, discovery, integrations, and industry best practices.

The consultant will work independently and with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure CMDB integrity, optimize assets and configuration data lifecycle management, and enable accurate service visibility and operational efficiency across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

Management :

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of technical professionals to ensure successful project delivery.
• Collaborate with senior leadership, business stakeholders, and customers to understand business priorities and align delivery goals.
• Drive team performance, resource planning, capacity management, and career development initiatives.
• Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, coaching sessions, and stakeholder updates.
• Identify and mitigate delivery risks, escalations, and dependencies.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Technical Leadership :

• Provide hands-on technical guidance and architectural oversight on projects.
• Review solution designs, code quality, technical standards, and best practices.
• Support technical decision-making and problem resolution for complex challenges.
• Drive innovation, automation, and process improvements within the delivery organization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure scalable, secure, and high-quality solutions.
• Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies.

Required:

• 10+ Years experience into ITAM & CMDB Solution Design.
• Solution and design enterprise-grade ITAM and CMDB implementations using ServiceNow best practices
• Bachelors Degree
