1. Responsibilities

a. Assist Project Management Team in Project Management, Contract Administration and Site Supervision.

b. Coordinate with a team of Resident Engineers (RE) and Resident Technical Officers (RTO) on site to ensure that all works comply fully with regulatory and Client's requirements.

c. Work closely with Project Management Team, QP(S), QP(D), Client, Contractors and local Authorities to ensure successful and timely completion of the project.

d. Attend regular site progress meetings and site inspections to resolve site issues.

e. Prepare presentation and draft minutes for meetings.

f. Review Contractor’s submissions to ensure compliance with regulatory and Client's requirements.

g. Prepare reports, track progress and follow up on site issues.

h. Identify any non-conformance of Contractor's works on site and to follow up with Contractor to ensure rectification of non-conformance.

2. Requirements

a) Degree in Civil Engineering recognized by IES that allows registration as Resident Engineer with IES.

b) Preferably possess minimum 1 year's relevant work experience. Fresh graduates are welcomed.

c) Preferably possess working experience in project management and geotechnical works. Added advantage for work experience in reclamation works.

d) Good analytical ability with strong verbal and written communication skills.

e) Team player and able to multi-task

f) Discipline, self-motivated and resourceful

g) Willing to travel to an offshore island project site as required.

h) Well-versed in Microsoft Office Suite of Software (e.g. Word, PowerPoint, Excel etc)

i) Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Plaxis etc will be advantageous
