Our client is a well-established public sector organisation embarking on large-scale digital transformation initiatives. They are seeking an experienced project manager to drive governance excellence across digital products, technology projects, and enterprise platforms.

What You’ll Be Doing

As the project manager, you will play a key role in establishing and strengthening governance practices throughout the digital delivery lifecycle. Key responsibilities will include:

• Develop, maintain and continuously improve digital governance frameworks, policies, standards, templates and playbooks.

• Partner with other project managers, product owners, architects, engineers, security teams and business stakeholders to embed governance requirements into project delivery.

• Ensure compliance with Digital Service Standards (DSS), IM8 requirements and organisational governance policies.

• Conduct governance reviews covering solution designs, architecture, technical documentation and project deliverables.

• Facilitate governance checkpoints, architecture reviews and Go-Live Readiness assessments.

• Monitor governance risks, track remediation activities and ensure timely closure of compliance gaps.

• Produce governance dashboards, management reports and executive updates.

• Promote governance awareness and best practices across multiple delivery teams.

What We’re Looking For:

Ideally, you should possess:

• At least 7 years of relevant experience in project management, digital governance or ICT project delivery, and a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Proven experience managing complex ICT projects or governance initiatives.
• You will have a sound understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, digital governance, ICT governance, enterprise architecture, risk management as well as compliance frameworks
• Experiences working closely with business users, solution architects, developers, infrastructure teams, cybersecurity teams and external vendors will be crucial
• Strong analytical thinking with exceptional attention to detail as well as strong stakeholder management skills, excellent documentation and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously are some essential skills that we will be looking at
• Any prior experiences in Digital Service Standards (DSS), IM8 Governance, cloud technologies, enterprise architecture, digital transformation programmes, operational readiness, user experience governance will be an advantage
• Technical exposure to Jira, Confluence, SharePoint. Microsoft Teams, React or Angular will be highly regarded
• Professional certifications such as PMP, CITPM, TOGAF, ITIL or equivalent are highly regarded.
