We're Hiring: Electrical Engineer | Build AMRs for Healthcare at Sesto Robotics

We are partnering with Sesto Robotics to find a driven Electrical Engineer to join their innovative multidisciplinary team in Singapore. Sesto is engineering the future of healthcare logistics, specializing in cutting-edge Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) and Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs) designed specifically for dynamic clinical environments. Their robots streamline operations so healthcare professionals can focus on what matters most: saving lives.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Purpose-Driven Design: Drive the end-to-end electrical system design, modularization, and wire harness/interconnect selection for next-generation healthcare AMRs.
- Component Strategy: Select and integrate critical system components (sensors, actuators, safety logic elements) that meet stringent clinical and operational standards.
- Power & Functional Safety: Estimate power consumption, design robust DC/AC distribution networks, and implement rigorous functional safety designs (DFMEA) essential for human-centric environments.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with mechanical, software, and deployment teams to ensure solutions seamlessly integrate into hospital workflows.
- Immediate Impact: Be supportive member in the running of healthcare project in Singapore.
What You Bring to the Table:
- A Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in automation or machine building.
- Strong proficiency in PLC hardware implementation and programming.
- Deep knowledge of wiring sizing, communication networks (Ethernet, CAN, RS232/422/485, USB), and DC/AC power management.
- A methodical approach to troubleshooting and fault-finding.
- Bonus points: Prior experience with AMRs/AGVs, robotic arm controllers, or Electrical CAD systems (especially Zuken E3).
