About This Role
We are seeking a Technical Advisory Consultant specializing in chemical production processes. In this role, you will provide hands-on technical guidance and process optimization solutions to enhance our client's chemical manufacturing operations.
Project Context
- Client: Malaysian chemical manufacturing enterprise.
- Focus: Chemical production process optimization and practical solutions.
- Scope: Production process improvement, efficiency enhancement, and technical troubleshooting.
Work Arrangement
- Primary: Remote-based work through online meetings, video conferences, and digital collaboration tools.
- On-site: Visits to Malaysia are available when necessary and conditions permit for in-person guidance and training.
- Travel: May be required for critical project milestones or key client meetings.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct technical assessments of the client's current chemical production processes.
- Identify process inefficiencies and recommend actionable optimization solutions.
- Provide practical guidance on chemical manufacturing techniques and industry best practices.
- Support troubleshooting of production issues and quality concerns.
- Guide the implementation of process improvements and new technologies.
- Deliver on-site training and technical workshops in Malaysia when needed.
- Monitor production performance data and adjust solutions based on results.
Requirements
- Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience in chemical engineering or chemical production.
- Expertise: Deep knowledge of chemical manufacturing processes, reactor design, or process optimization.
- Background: Extensive practical experience in chemical plant operations is highly valued over academic qualifications alone.
- Skills: Strong problem-solving, analytical skills, and excellent self-management capabilities for remote work.
- Communication: Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Travel: Willingness and ability to travel to Malaysia for critical project milestones.
- Preferred: Direct experience working with chemical manufacturing enterprises.
- Compliance: Sound knowledge of chemical industry safety standards and environmental regulations.
Pay: RM200.00 - RM400.00 per hour
