Roles & Responsibilities

We are looking for a dedicated and empathetic Student Management Executive to support student welfare and character development frameworks at Boon Lay Garden Primary School. You will act as a mentor and guide to help students navigate behavioral challenges and thrive in a positive school environment.

1. One-to-One Student Support & Mentoring

• Provide dedicated mentoring, guidance, and befriending support to Higher Needs Students (HNS) within the school's discipline domain.
• Support and monitor students who have been assigned disciplinary consequences to encourage positive behavioral changes.

2. Motivational Programmes & Character Building

• Plan, organize, and conduct impact-driven motivational talks or engagement sessions for student cohorts.
• Build localized programs aimed at inspiring primary school students, strengthening character traits, and proactively addressing common discipline-related concerns.

3. Discipline Support & Incident Investigation

• Assist school management by conducting basic fact-finding, interviews, and objective information-gathering to support investigations into student-related incidents.
• Conduct after-school neighborhood patrols alongside school Key Personnel (KPs) to ensure community safety and student decorum.

4. Stakeholder & Parent Engagement

• Partner closely with the Discipline Master to engage parents and guardians regarding student discipline, behavioral management plans, and overall student development pathways.

Working Hours (Attractive School Calendar Schedule)

This position offers a balanced 30-hour work week schedule.

Services are completely off during Saturdays, Sundays, gazetted public holidays, and official MOE school holidays.

• Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays: 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM (Includes a 30-minute lunch break from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM)
• Thursdays: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (Includes a 30-minute lunch break from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM)

Job Requirements

• Experience: Minimally two (2) years of direct experience working with families, children, or youth.
• Core Skills: Exceptional interpersonal, verbal communication, and relationship-building skills to connect with young children and parents.
• Bonus Points: Prior experience in planning, organising, and leading educational, motivational, or physical activities for youth will give your application an advantage.
• Selection Process: Shortlisted candidates will be required to attend an evaluative interview with the school authority.
